The 2nd annual “Talent Within” talent competition, hosted by Z-Man Scholarship Foundation and the Portland Police Bureau Youth Services Division was held Friday, April 25th at the City Bible Church at 6pm.  Hundreds of fans showed up to cheer on their favorite representative from Portland High Schools including Roosevelt, Jefferson, Grant, Benson, Lincoln, Wilson, Cleveland, Franklin, Madison, David Douglas, Parkrose and POIC.  Acts included singers, dancers, musicians and comedians.  The 1st place champion was awarded a $5,000 scholarship toward the college of his choice.   This year additional scholarships were awarded for 2nd and 3rd prize recipients with 2ndplace receiving $2,000 and 3rd place $1,000.  The date of the 2015 “Talent Within” is set for Friday, April 24th 2015.
