The 4th Annual Z-Man Scholarship Foundation “Talent Within” Grand Finale brought out some of the best high school talent in the area.  “This is the best talent we have ever seen” says Portland Police Sgt. Hank Hays, talent competition producer.

First prize winner was Lara Evans from Lincoln High School who wowed the crowd with her piano and singing of an original song.  Lara will receive $5000 towards her college education.

The jazz group “Soulstice” from Gresham High School was our 2nd prize winner.  Such a talented group of musicians! They will share a $2,000 towards further education.

Odon Alberto, Jr. of Tualatin High School was a crowd favorite with his amazing choreographed yo-yo exhibition.  All his hard work paid off.  He will receive a $1,000 college scholarship.

Thank you to all of the outstanding high school performers who came out and entertained an enthusiastic crowd.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Z-Man Scholarship Foundation.  The Foundation is proud to support young talent in our community and encourage positive relationships with our dedicated police.
