After filling out applications, writing essays and bravely speaking to an interview panel of Portland Police Officers, these six motivated and determined students were selected to join the Z-Man family. With the addition of this group, the foundation will have given this unique opportunity for college preparatory education and mentoring to fifty (50) deserving kids in our community. At the beginning of the 2016-17 school year, we will have nineteen (19) Z-Man scholars in high school working toward the goal of success in education, career and citizenship.
